Rachael Davis is a mixed-raced children’s author, represented by literary agent Alice Williams. She lives in Hampshire with her husband and two young daughters and loves the magic of getting lost in a good book. She studied Mathematics at Oxford University and then went to work in Finance. A few years later, her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Rachael decided life was too short not to do what you love. She left her job, did a masters in English Literature at Surrey University, became a full-time writer, and has never looked back.Rachael writes for children of all ages, both fiction and non-fiction, and is passionate about showcasing diversity and mental wellness. Her debut picture book, I am NOT a Prince (Hachette, January 2022), is illustrated by Beatrix Hatcher.
