Little Wandle Code

Combining the trusted phonics expertise of Wandle Learning Trust with FFT’s 25-year track record of data and assessment support, Little Wandle Code is further strengthened by Collins with age-appropriate decodable anthologies that are fully matched to the programme progression and have been designed to appeal to pupils in Year 7 and above.  

Students’ progress through the workbooks in the intervention sessions to secure their phonic knowledge through consistent and carefully designed activities. The student workbooks are fully integrated within the Code programme and are supported by teacher notes and slides included in the Little Wandle Code subscription. 

We have also curated a selection of recommended books from Barrington Stoke for the read-aloud part of the intervention.
