Resource guide
- ‘Video’ lets you watch a full-length video retelling of one story in your book.
- ‘Classroom activities’ gives you a full lesson plan based on your book. If the lesson plan is for one story in the book, a clear symbol indicates activities which are reusable with any story in the same book.
- ‘Student activities’ gives you a PDF full of comprehension tasks based on your book / one story in your book.
- ‘Further research’ offers website links and ideas for how you or your students can find out more about each person in the book. These will be useful for project work, answering questions, and encouraging general interest in the topic area.
- ‘Anytime games and fillers’ provides you with a range of fun and active games and activities which will get your classroom thinking, communicating and participating. These activities can be applied to any Amazing People Reader and can be used with most age groups.
