Treasure House - Handwriting Foundation Resource Pack
Paperback
Treasure House Handwriting is a whole-school programme designed to support children in developing a clear and fluent style of writing. Using precursive and cursive handwriting styles, the programme progresses from introducing the movements and patterns needed to form letters, through to the development of a personal style.
The worksheets in this resource pack introduce children to the fine motor movements and pencil control that will be necessary for the formation of letters and patterns. It provides practice in moving from left to right, keeping within ‘tramlines’ and making the up-and-down and curved movements necessary for letter formation.
Practice is also provided in each of the movements for upper case letters.
Useful teacher notes accompany the 96 worksheets for children.
