Big Cat author Lynne RickardsLynne Rickards was born in Canada and settled in Scotland in 1992. She has turned her hand to a wide range of literary pursuits over the years, including proofreading, translation, editing and writing for children. She has published over 30 picture books, and is best known for Pink! which was nominated for a Royal Mail Award in 2009, and for her popular series of puffin stories published by Floris Books. As Patron of Reading at Comely Park Primary in Falkirk, she collaborates with educators to nurture a love of books and reading among primary pupils. Lynne has published three titles in the Big Cat reading scheme: Noisy Neesha, One Potato and Clementine’s Smile.
