Do your children struggle to learn from books with lots of text?

The short, fun and sometimes absurd short stories in Dekko Comics communicate cross-curricular content in an entertaining way. They make learning more accessible, particularly for children with dyslexia, autism, ADHD or those who are simply bored with homework and find this presentation more engaging.

About Dekko Comics
  • Each comic contains twelve diverse KS2 curriculum topics from subjects including Maths, English, Science, History, Languages and Geography. Includes interactive puzzle and fan pages.
  • Dekko Comes from an old English slang word for ëto take a lookí at something.
David Crooks, Teacher

"What a treat they have been in my classroom! I have a Primary 6/7 class with a lot of ASN especially one boy who is autistic, he adores them... and he spent a whole hour reading through a whole comic and then designing his own surrounding things he has learned in school!"

Tried and tested

A recent study by Dr Paul Aleixo Sheffield Hallam University has shown that students remember details significantly better when learnt through comic books compared to textbooks.

"The findings of our research have provided evidence to support the idea of using comic books to create instructional materials such as textbooks."
