Using manipulatives just 10 minutes per day
We are pleased to support a new project from Kerry Dalton of the North Star Teaching School Alliance and Head Teacher at Roecliffe Primary School.
Making Mathematics Count challenges teachers to use manipulatives every day for 6 weeks to develop children’s mastery of counting, place value and calculation.
- Builds confidence across the whole school, in every classroom
- Allows children to be 'hands-on' with mathematics
- Uses easily available resources, both formal and informal
