Join us for a free online space-themed quiz hosted by real life astronomers from the Royal Observatory Greenwich!
Gather your households or family and friends (virtually) to create the best quiz team this side of the Orion arm.
Please read the following instructions carefully.
Your quiz answers will need to be entered into a Google form. The link to form will be revealed at the start of the quiz session in the chat and on screen.
Quiz day and how it will work:
Make sure you join the quiz session on time using the Zoom link details in your confirmation email.
When you join, your host will provide the link to the Google Form for your answers.
Once the form has opened, it is important to fill in a Team Name and the name of the person who booked the session. This information will not be kept and will only be used to identify the winners to send prizes.
Due to safeguarding purposes, your microphones and web cameras will remain off for the entire quiz. You will need to use the chat function to get in touch with the host if you have any questions or problems during the quiz.
In each round, the quizmaster will ask you a series of questions. All you need to do is enter your answer in the Google form.
At the end of each round, you will be given a short period of time to go over and finalise your answers. You must submit your answers before the timer ends.
After the end of the quiz, the Creative Task Challenge will be set - this is optional and will not determine the overall winner. If you would like to participate in the challenge, and we encourage you to do so, follow the quiz master's instructions carefully.
At the end of the quiz we will announce the winner, as well as revealing the answers - so don't worry, you won't be left in suspense!
The winner of the creative task challenge will either be announced on our Twitter account or notified via email a few working days after the quiz.
