Big Cat Phonics for Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised - Keep-up Teacher's Guide for Year 1

Ensure every child learns to read by putting in place instant support for any child falling behind through same-day keep-up sessions. This Keep-up Teacher’s Guide provides clear, easy-to-follow small-step lessons supported through prompt cards, covering Phases 3–5 of the programme.

Big Cat for Little Wandle Fluency has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It consists of a range of chapter books with increasing word counts across 10 fluency levels aimed at children in Year 2 and 3. Each book builds reading confidence, stamina and speed and nurtures a love for reading.
