Sheila McCann has had 38 years of secondary English teaching experience, including 26 years as Head of Department in a large 11-18 comprehensive school in the north west. She has also worked for over 25 years as a senior examiner for a leading examination board and, more recently, has been involved in the development of the new specification for GCSE English Language.Jo Heathcote is an experienced English teacher in the post-16 sector.
